IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joe W.
Naumann
June 18, 1930 – November 10, 2021
Joe Walter Naumann, 91, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2021, at ThedaCare Medical Center in Shawano, WI. Born June 18, 1930, to Frank and Hulda Reimer in Land O' Lakes, WI. Joe was adopted by his parents John and Amanda Naumann after his birth parents passed away in an automobile accident in 1936. A life-long Cecil, WI resident, Joe met his loving wife, Beatie, early in life while both attending the same school. Shortly after high school, they married in 1951 at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, a church of which they both were lifelong members.
A farmer and factory worker by trade, Joe put God and family above all else. He could be found jigsaw puzzling, fishing, volunteering at his church on "pancake dinner Sunday", or spreading his infectious laugh and sense of humor to everyone around him.
Joe is preceded in death by: his birth and adoptive parents; brothers and sisters; two daughters, Tammy and Jill; and his wife of 64 years, Beatie.
Joe is survived by: his children, Pat Naumann (Scott Gibson), Mike (Sara) Naumann, Dan (Tammi) Naumann, Bonnie Schultz (Robert Karbon); his grandchildren, Elizabeth (Matt) Sheehan, Timothy (BreAnn) Schultz, Rachael (Justin) Arrogante, Andrew (Erica) Naumann, Chris Schultz, Eric Naumann, and Evan Naumann; and his great-grandchildren, Lucas, KyLee, and Ethan Schultz, Aaron Sheehan, and Norah Arrogante.
Visitation will be held at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, W3110 White Clay Lake Drive, Cecil, WI on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, from 9:00 am-11:00 am with service to follow at 11:00 am by Pastor Michael Paholke. All in attendance are requested to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status. Arrangements provided by Swedberg Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel, WI.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church.
The family would like to thank the wonderful and caring staff at Shawano Health Services and ThedaCare Medical Center in Shawano for making Joe's end of life journey as comfortable as possible.
