John Christian Becker, age 66, of Shawano passed away on Sunday February 1, 2026, at his home while under hospice care. John was born on June 25, 1959, in Milwaukee at Mercy Hospital to the late Jacob and Jean (Wiesendanger) Becker. He worked for many years in Milwaukee at Butterfly Cleaners then eventually moved to Shawano to be closer to family. John worked at Arrowcast and Goodwill for many years. After becoming unable to work due to his body; he was able to relax in his later years. John found peace and happiness with his dogs, which he greatly loved Fluffy and Simba.

John is survived by his sister, Sheryl Becker Hauring; nephew, Danny (Joanna) Ebert; niece, Shelly (Kasey) Ebert Wnuk; great nephews, Keith Ebert, Jr., Danny Ebert, Jr., and Henry Wnuk; brother-in-law, Keith (Hope) Ebert. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

John is preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Becker Ebert; brother-in-law, Kevin Hauring; and parents, Jacob and Jean Becker.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.
