John Paul Cary, age 41, of Town of Angelica/Bonduel, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2019 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. John was born in Green Bay on May 19, 1978 to Rose (Leitermann) Cary and the late Charles P. Cary, Jr. He graduated from Bonduel High School in 1997. John was a big man with a big personality and it shone through with everyone he met. He cherished his time spent with family and friends, playing games, and cooking. John enjoyed the outdoors, he was an avid "hunter", enjoyed cutting wood with his chainsaws and helping out anyone who was in need.
John is survived by: his mother, Rose; his children, Samantha Laubenstein, Maxwell, Matthew and Garrett Cary, and their half-sister Abigail Koslowski; his siblings, David (Janet) Cary, Lynda (Juan) Guzman, Barbara (Adrian) Perez, Maria Cary-Montoure, Michael (Jennifer) Cary, Joseph (Rachel) Cary, Regina (Jeff) Suprise, Anna (Kyle) Utke, Monica Cary, and Sarah Cary; and his grandmother, Helen Leitermann. He is survived by a special group of lifelong friends, especially Ronnie Beyersdorf. He is further survived by 30 nieces and nephews, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Charles Cary, Jr. and his grandparents, Dorothy and Charles Cary, Sr., and John Leitermann.
A funeral service will be held for John at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Green Bay with Canon Antoine Boucheron officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery in Bonduel. Visitation will take place at Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel on Monday, July 29, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
