John "Johnny Depp" Tepiew, age 78, passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021, in Neopit. He was born on October 16, 1942, to the late John and Mary (Kakwitch) Tepiew in Keshena, WI. John worked at the Wisconsin Rapids Foundry before returning to Neopit in 1989. He worked at Menominee Tribal Clinic in Keshena for several years and was a cook at the Keshena Head Start until his retirement. John was a hunter and enjoyed being in the woods. He was also a Packer fan and enjoyed playing cards. John was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Neopit.

John is survived by his children; Elizabeth (Craig) Skonieczny, John Tepiew III, Robert (Jessica) Tepiew, Michael Tepiew, and William Tepiew, his brother, Brian (Barbara) Tepiew, and sister, Karen Webster, his long-time companion, Nora Bruley, special niece and nephew Arlene and Gerald "Joe Sweed" Wayka Sr. and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

John is preceded in death by his parents; John and Mary Tepiew, children; Eva and Dorothy, and brothers and sister; Eugene Tepiew, Arnold Tepiew, Warren Kakwitch and Yvonne "Posey" Lyons.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Neopit with Deacon Tom Harman officiating. Friends may visit the family in Midway after 3:00 pm Saturday, September 18, 2021 until the procession leaves for church on Tuesday.
