John C. White, age 72, of Shawano, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020. John was born on September 5, 1947, in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, to the late Louis and Betty (Folker) White. In 1960, he moved to Shawano from Fairfield, Iowa. He was the owner and operator of the Office Shop and Ice Cream Creations on South Main Street. John was a past Master at the Shawano Masonic Lodge #170 F. & A.M. and was also a former Baja Shriner. He also participated in numerous committees when his children were in school. John enjoyed being Santa Claus, being with people and deer hunting.

John is survived by his children, Ray (Lindsay) White of Stratford, Jenni (Brad) Sperberg of Shawano, and Mollie (Dustin Thomas) White of Junction City; his grandchildren, Laci Sperberg, Layla Sperberg, Avery White, Dayton White, and Finley White; and his sister, Connie (Dennis) Zubb of Chicago.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Family will receive friends after 4:00 pm on Friday, June 19, 2020 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano. Masonic memorial services will be held at 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
