Joleen Michelle Goodman, age 36, of Minneapolis, passed away on May 10, 2021. Joleen was born on July 13, 1984 to the late Joseph Goodman and Brenda Joan Askenette.  One of her favorite hobbies was doing makeup and hair. Her beautiful sense of style and fashion was evident, and she always liked to dress nicely.

Joleen is survived by her children, Venecio Askenette, Julian Askenette, Ayla Askenette, and Peter Askenette; her brothers Harold Lightfeather and Joey Goodman. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Brenda.

Services for Joleen will begin at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Neopit with Fr. Hanz Christian officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Swedberg Funeral Home Friday May 21, 2021 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and then again from 9:00 am on Saturday at the church until the time of service.
