Joseph F. Brown, age 98, passed away on Sunday July 30, 2023, in Shawano. Joseph was born on February 12, 1925, in Milwaukee County to the late Charles and Mary (Koelsch) Brown. He served his country proudly in the United States Army during World War II. Joseph was united in marriage to Gloria Gloss. Gloria preceded him in death in 2002. Joseph worked many years as a private investigator at Burns Agency in Chicago, Illinois. He moved to the Shawano area in the early 1980s.

Joseph is survived by his son, Richard Brown, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his very special friend Doris Priem.

Joseph is preceded in death by his son, William Brown; two grandsons; wife, Gloria; parents, Charles and Mary; and seven brothers and sisters.

A private inurnment will be held at Lake Drive Cemetery at a later date.
