Joseph Henry "Joe" Zurawski, age 82, of Gillett, passed away at his home on Monday, March 4, 2024.  Joe was born in Chicago on April 24, 1941, son of the late Joseph and Cecelia (Mirek) Zurawski. Joe was a proud American and served his country honorably in the United States Army.  He was united in marriage to Diane Kolodziejczak and together they raised six children. Joe worked in roofing for many years and later owned and operated a tree nursery with his son. He loved flowers and trees and meticulously maintained his property. Joe was the type of man who took pride in everything he did.  In his free time, he enjoyed playing slots at the casino.

Joe is survived by: his children, Dawn (Dave) Williamson, Joe (Samantha) Zurawski, Holly (Rob) McDowell, Joell (Tim) Gratz, Becky (Terry Geary) Zurawski, and Kristie (fiancé, Aron Adams) Feffer; grandchildren, Thomas, Tiffany, Heather, Elizabeth, Maddisyn, David, Kelly, Braden, Grace, Chase, Ryan, Josh, Vince, Evan, Lukas, Hannah, and Jolie; great grandchildren; and a sister, Patricia Goudonis. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Joe will be laid to rest next to his wife, Diane, at Woodlawn Cemetery.
