Obituary
Joseph S. "Joe" Slowikowski, age 68 of Ringle, died on Sunday, December 25, 2016 with his family by his side in Wausau. He was born on February 23, 1948 in Milwaukee, to the late Walter and Madelin (Dalley) Slowikowski. Joe was united in marriage to Christine Sell on June 24, 1970, in Wauwatosa. The couple owned and operated The Pool People in Schofield, Rhinelander and Stevens Point and resided in Ringel the past 20 years. Joe enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time in Islamorada, FL.
He is survived by his wife, Chris; two sons, Stanley and Michael; four grandchildren, Mathew, Siara, Tristan and Kyan; and his brother, Walter Slowikowski, Jr. of Ham Lake.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the Ringle Town Hall. Visitation will be held at the town hall on Saturday from 2:30 p.m. until the time of the service.
