Joseph Thomas "Toman" Boivin of Neopit, entered into eternal life on January 13, 2023, at the age of 90. He was born on May 28, 1932, to the late Thomas and Ida Boivin in Keshena. He was united in marriage to Carol "Stell" Lawe in Neopit until her death, May 27, 2007. Toman was employed by Menominee Tribal Enterprises for 62 years, the last years working part-time until the age of 80! He enjoyed watching wrestling, going to the casino, cutting and collecting firewood and was an avid Packer fan.

Toman is survived by his children, Glenn (Pauline) Boivin, Sr. of Neopit, Gary (Roberta) Boivin of Keshena, Winslow Warrington of Neopit and LuAnn (Don Reiter) Warrington of Keshena; grandchildren, Jennifer, Glenn, Jr., Colleen, David, Marcus, Wade, Brandon and Patricia Rae; great-grandchildren, Kyah, Kobe, Cora, Mikaela, Alyssa, Natayleah; great-great grandchildren, Talon, Nizhoni, Quill, Brianna, Nayeli, Niiwin and Chase; brothers, Bernard (Delores) Boivin, Eugene Boivin, Alan (Annette) Boivin, Ed (Cindy) Boivin and Paul (Gretchen) Boivin; and sister, Jennie Boivin.

He is preceded by his parents; stepmother, Virginia; wife, Stell; daughters, Ida, Colette and Roberta; son, Ike; 2 sisters, Angeline Krause and Mary Anne McDonald; brother, David Boivin; grandson, Daryl Boivin; sisters-in-law, Colleen Warrington, Claudette Dodge, Colette "Sugar" Anderson, Rhonda Boivin and Melva Boivin; brothers-in-law, Claude, Colin, Sr. and Richard Lawe.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Neopit with Fr. Hanz Christian officiating. Visitation will be held at the Joseph "Toman" Boivin residence: 3625 N 2 ^nd Avenue, Neopit beginning at 3:00 pm on Monday, January 16, 2023, until the procession leaves for the church on Wednesday.
