Joseph "Joe" Richard Wage, age 82, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023, in Green Bay. Joe was born in Milwaukee on April 19, 1940, the son of Joseph and Charlotte (Herring) Wage.  He was born and raised in Milwaukee and worked at Briggs & Stratton for over 30 years as a pot melter.  After his retirement, Joe moved to the Shawano area. He was always willing to lend a hand to others.  He loved his dogs and enjoyed camping, riding ATVs with his friends and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. Joe was a strong, loving man who worked hard and made his family proud.

He is survived by his children, Debra Duerst and Dale Wage; grandchildren, Andy Wage and Kendall Wage; great-grandchildren, Leighannah Wage and Waylon Wage; brother and sister, Charles Wage and Virginia Laurich; and his former wife, Mary Murawski. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Kelly Duerst and brother-in-law, Harvey Laurich.

A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
