Joyce Margaret Steingraeber, age 80, passed away peacefully at home early Sunday morning, December 5, 2021, in Neenah, WI. The daughter of the late Joseph and Eleanor (Gierlinski) Adamski was born March 22, 1941 and was a 1959 graduate of St. Mary's Academy of Milwaukee. She enjoyed her time working at the airlines and traveling. Her husband Jim was very determined to win her heart, and her father-in-law Kermit, tipped the scales. She was an amazing wife and mother that created a memorable home in Brookfield, WI with a large garden and delicious meals to share with the family. In later years, Joyce became a drug and alcohol counselor and helped many families through their difficulties. Her retirement years were filled with good times, family and friends, volunteer activities and travel. Joyce loved volunteer work. Helping children at the Lakeview Elementary was one of her favorite activities. She effortlessly made connections throughout the community in which she lived. Joyce was an inspiration to all who knew her, and she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her two sons and daughter; Jeremy Steingraeber of Howes Cave, NY and Joseph Steingraeber of Köln, Germany, Jody (Steingraeber) Kellerman of Greenville, WI; daughter-in-law Yvonne Steingraeber, future daughter-in-law Kateryna Chornook, son-in-law Glen Kellerman, Sr.; and eight grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by James Steingraeber (husband of 50+ years!), Joy Ann Steingraeber (daughter), sister Elaine (Adamski) Manners, brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Mary Adamski.

A celebration of life event is being planned for a later date.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital and Compassus Hospice for their exceptional care of Joyce.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joyce's name to the American Cancer Society.
