Judith Ann (Sumnicht) Egge was a caring mother, sister, aunt and friend. She passed away Jan. 26, 2022, at the age of 73, after a short stay with Evergreen Hospice.

Judy was a talented gardener and loved spending time in the kitchen, cooking, canning and baking, especially when she could share it. She never tired of helping others, especially her family. Children would gather around Judy as she was young at heart and loved to make them laugh. She was passionate about her ancestry, having tirelessly documented centuries of genealogy and family history.

Judy was born to Leonard and Lois (Radtke) Sumnicht on Sept. 9, 1948. Judy graduated from Bonduel High School and spent her talents at a variety of careers while raising her beloved son, Todd.

Judy is survived by her son, Todd; her furbaby, Priscilla; sisters, Mary Marquette and Alice (Dave) Glatz; brothers, Jim (Kathy) Sumnicht and Peter (Rhonda) Sumnicht; and many nieces and nephews, whom she loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Joel and Willy Sumnicht; and sister, Diane Bohm.

A celebration of Judy's life will be held in the summer months.
