Julia M. Steber, age 87, of Clintonville, passed away at her home on Wednesday, April 15, 2020. Julia was born on February 20, 1933, to the late Hubert and Vera (Clark) Granger. She was united in marriage to Lee Demaskie who preceded her in death in 1961. Julia later married Clayton Steber who preceded her in death in 1987. Julia enjoyed being outside in her garden, embroidering, and decorating for the holidays, Christmas was her favorite. She loved cooking big meals and feeding her family and friends. Julia loved her family dearly, she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Julia is survived by: her children, Daniel (Elsa) Demaskie of Clover Leaf Lakes, Steven Demaskie of Clintonville, Randal Demaskie of New Mexico, Penny (Donald) Fehrman of Tilleda, Gregory (Jeanne) Steber of Krakow, and Margie (Charles) Malueg, Jr. of Gresham; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and her sister, Marie Seeley of Mauston. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; husbands, Lee Demaskie and Clayton Steber; her grandson, Benjamin Demaskie; her brother, Leroy Granger; and her sisters, Helen Seager and Dorothy Seager.
Due to the COVID pandemic, private family services will be held. Burial will be in St. Paul Riverside Cemetery in the Town of Almon.
