Julius Carl Kosbab, age 78 passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023, in Shawano. He was born on November 22, 1944 to the late Julius Kosbab and Daisy Ann (Cumbo) Kosbab in Phoenix, Arizona. Carl attended St. Paul Lutheran School in Bonduel and graduated from Bonduel High School in 1962. On December 2, 1972, he was united in marriage to Betty Engel. For over 30 years, Carl worked as a custodian at St. Paul Lutheran School. He was the church's sexton, a bell ringer, and a member of the Men's Club for many years. Carl was also a member of EAA at Oshkosh and enjoyed camping at the EAA Convention. He enjoyed being a ham operator in his free time.

Carl is survived by his wife Betty of 50 years; his children Benjamin Kosbab, of Shawano, Molly Kosbab, of Milwaukee, Jesse Kosbab, of Bonduel, Cory Kosbab, of Milwaukee and Naomi Kosbab, of Green Bay; and his brother, Jim, of Phoenix. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Carl is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Evelyn.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel. Visitation will be held at 9:30 am until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
