June Ann Qualheim, age 87, passed away surrounded by her family on Friday May 3, 2024, in Shawano. June was born on January 22, 1937, in Jump River, Wisconsin to the late Arthur and Delphine (Benware) Brassard. She graduated high school in Cadott, Wisconsin. On October 22, 1955, June was united in marriage to Gerald L. Qualheim at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Gilman, Wisconsin. The couple spent 64 wonderful years together before Gerald's passing in 2019. In 1979, June and Gerald purchased the Coast to Coast Hardware Store on Main Street in Shawano. This was the start of their family business. In 1995, they moved the store to their current location on Green Bay Street. In June's free time, she enjoyed crocheting, playing piano and gardening. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. June will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

June is survived by her children, Dr. Kathleen Qualheim, Michael (Beverly) Qualheim, Willis Qualheim, Timothy (Jennifer) Qualheim, Theresa (Hugh) Bell, Lisa (Kevin) Wellington and Karen (Rev. Jay) Clark; grandchildren, Stefany (Dave), Elizabeth, Shaun, Christopher (Dani), Timothy (Lyra), Patricia (Laurent), Katie, Karissa (Mike), Casey (Phil), Kendall, David (Samantha), Georgia (Blake), Samantha (David), Theresa (Mike), Charlie and Quin; 19 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Rahna. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

June is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; son, Patrick Qualheim; one sister, Elaine; two brothers, Dale and Willis; and parents, Arthur and Delphine.

A funeral mass for June will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday May 8, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano with Fr. Edward Looney officiating. Visitation will be held at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano on Tuesday May 7, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm then again on Wednesday at the church from  9:30 am until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established.
