Karen M. Corn, age 83, of Shawano passed away on Monday September 28, 2026, at The Pines in Embarrass. Karen was born on September 6, 1943, in Fountain City, WI, to the late Harry and Marie (Gille) Mueller. She was married to Darrel “Dusty” Corn on August 15, 1964, in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death April 7, 2012. Karen was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Shawano.

Karen is survived by her children, Dawn (Ken) Schmidt and Pete Corn; grandchildren, Andrew (Cyndie) Schmidt and Joshua (Angelic) Schmidt; great-grandchildren, Stella, Levi, Miller, and Adelynn; and sister, Debbie (Dale) Buss. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Calvin Mueller and Doris Babler.

A memorial service for Karen will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday October 10, 2026, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Ken Schmidt officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 pm until the time of service. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Mausoleum.
