Karen Lee Carroll, age 81 of Gresham, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. She was born in Shawano on July 22, 1941, to the late Lawrence "Cubby" and Irene (Sperberg) Lamberies. Karen was married to James H. Carroll on September 1, 1962 at St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church in Gresham. Over the years, she worked in several businesses, but her favorite being the casino. The common theme of her favorite past-times was always family. She loved get-togethers with friends and family, spending time at the family cabin in Goodman, camping, and baking family recipes. Karen cherished the holidays, especially with her grandkids and great grandkids. She knitted EVERYTHING, LOVED her hats, and relished being outdoors, tending to her flowers and plants.

Karen is survived by her loving husband, Jim; two daughters, Theresa Carroll , and Lisa (Lee) Bartz; eight grandchildren, Michelle (Carlos), Collin (Rachelle), Remington J.D., Leeann, Kent (Sam), Lindsay (Rigo), Kristin (Melvin) and Kyle; 16 great grandchildren; Waylon, Tristin, Katie, Jamie, Laylaih, Carlos, Diego, Eliza, Adrian, Lyte, Jaxon, Rigo, Kaylee, Charlee, Starlito, Easton, Skye and Jeovonni; five siblings, Lawrence Jr. "Cubby" (Bonnie) Lamberies, Sue Ann Lacey, Pamela Joy (Allen) Wilber, Rebecca Peters, and Jeffery Jay (Ralinda) Lamberies. She is further survived by numerous other relatives and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Jamie, her parents, and her brother, Alan "Al" Lamberies.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church in Gresham with Fr. Timothy Machila and Fr. Hanz Christian officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30 am until the time of the services. Burial will be in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.
