Karen Rosenow, age 74, of Bowler, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.  Karen was born in Marquette, Michigan on June 21, 1947, to the late George and Dagmar (Heliste) Wuolle.  On September 21, 1968, Karen was united in marriage to Duane Rosenow in Tilleda.  Together the couple raised three children.  Karen also worked at North Star Casino for many years.  She was a truly wonderful woman, always putting others before herself, so much so that if you mention her name to friends and family they will likely smile and share a story about a time when Karen did something amazing for them.  She was like a mom or grandma to all and always made sure everyone was cared for and supported.  She was a faithful member of Peace Lutheran Church in Tilleda.  In her free time Karen enjoyed shopping and going out to eat with her family.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish Karen's memory are: her three children, Kristi Rosenow-Hefty, Kerry Rosenow, and Kraig (Marc) Rosenow; grandchildren, Chad, Alex, Trevor, Travis, Zachary, and Greta; great grandchildren, Evan and Elaina; a sister, Shirley Setala; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Karen is preceded in death by her husband Duane Rosenow and her parents.

A funeral service for Karen will be held at Peace Lutheran Church in Tilleda at 11:00am on Saturday, April 2, 2022, with Rev. Lois Graper officiating.  Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30am until the time of the service.
