Karla Mae Criscione, age 49 of Shawano, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2013 at a local nursing home. Born on August 16, 1963 in Shawano, she was the daughter of Audrey (Schreiber) Criscione and the late Sylvester Criscione. Karla was a member of the Red River Riders and the Packer Jets Bowling Team. She was baptized into the Lutheran faith. Karla is survived by: her mother, Audrey Criscione of Shawano; 4 siblings, Vicki (Bruce) Stevens of TX, Susan Ostenberg of Maple Valley, WA, Barb (friend, Randy Miller) Meulemans of Appleton, Rick Criscione of New London; 11 nieces and nephews, Anthony, Sarah, Jeremy, Angel, Eric, Jenny, Chris, Jenny, Jeremy, Amie Jo, Zachary; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00a.m. on Friday, August 9, 2013 at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with the Rev. Gisele Berninghaus officiating. Inurnment will be in the Friendship Cemetery in the Town of Belle Plaine. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
