Karla Kohn, age 66, of Nichols, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 20, 2018. Born on December 17, 1951 in Shawano, Karla is the daughter of the late Eugene and Mabel (Simon) Kohn. Karla worked as a bartender for many years, most recently at the Whistle Inn in Nichols. In her free time she enjoyed camping, shopping, watching the Packers, and doing arts and crafts. Everyone loved Karla and she was a second mom or grandma to many. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

Karla is survived by: her children, William "Bill" Kohn of Nichols, Robert "Bobby" (Jamie) Shaw of Shawano, and Brandy (Mike) Ginter of Crandon; eight grandchildren, Brianna, Natalie, Deony, Derek, Jennifer, Tyler, Tanner, and Karley; three great grandchildren; siblings, Cindy (Dennis) Warpinski of Green Bay, Pat (Gerald) Skogan of Marion, Lois Kohn of Alabama, and Lee (Mary) Kohn of Bonduel. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Faye Ann Leitzke and Donna Knispel.

A memorial service for Karla will be held at noon on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Swedberg Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00am until the time of the service.
