Katelyn Latisha Kelley, age 23, of the Menominee Indian Reservation, passed away on March 17, 2021. She was born on December 18, 1997, to Daniel A. Webster, Jr. and Michelle M. Kelley, in Shawano. Katelyn graduated from Menominee High School. She worked for North Star and Menominee Casino. She enjoyed swimming, camping and spending time with her family.
Katelyn is survived by: Kodiak Makimatas, Sr. and their son, Kodiak Makimatas, Jr.; her parents, Daniel A. Webster, Jr. and Michelle M. Kelley; siblings, Lincoln J. Peters, Shalissa M. (Webster) Lewis, Kassidy D. Kelley, Desiree A. Webster, James L. Rockman, Elih L. Webster, and Renita E. Webster; grandmother, Jacquelyn Kelley, grandfather, Faron Bailey; and her "sister" Elizabeth J. Shawanokasic. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by: one sibling, Rhainnon, her grandfather, Anthony P. "Wolfman" Wolf; and her grandmother, LaVerne "Grandma Pie" Kakwitch.
A funeral service for Katelyn will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021, at 11 am at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Neopit, with Fr. Hanz Christian officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Fr. David Barrett Hall in Keshena, from 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 3, until procession leaves for service on Friday.
