Katherine "Kathy" Rotramel, age 72, of Shawano, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2020. Kathy was born on August 31, 1947, to the late Charles and Lois (Woodward) Frechette in Chicago, Illnois. In 1975, Kathy was united in marriage to James Rotramel, Sr. in Chicago. James preceded her in death in 1991. Kathy was an amazing, outgoing individual who was the rock for her family and was always there for others. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kathy is survived by her sons, Chris (Jolene Hawpetoss) Rotramel of Shawano and James Rotramel, Jr. of New York; her grandchildren, Danny, Sarah, Cody, Michael, and Blaze; her great grandsons, Anthony, Josh, and Jonathon; her siblings, Sue (Warren) Thunder of Zoar, Linda Richter of Chicago, Kurt Hasselquist of Shawano, and Ann (Jim) Skibbe of Chicago; as well as nieces, nephews, other family members and friends, including special niece and friend KathyAnn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Rotramel, Sr.; her sons, Joshua and Jonathon (in infancy); her daughter, Elizabeth Tinajero; and her brother, John Frechette.

A memorial service will be held for Kathy at 11:00 am on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Dick Menning officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday at the funeral home from 9:30 am until the time of service.
