"Our community may not recognize her in person. You'd never know it was her on the other side of your emergency call when you were in distress, hurt, or needed help. It was her voice that assured you help was on the way, as she sent you Police, EMS, or the Fire Department. Today, we pay the utmost respects to an exceptional Dispatcher, Kat Rusch. She served the Menominee community for many years and was the voice on the other end of our calls.
We will never forget you, Kat. Rest easy."
