Kathryn "Kathy" Kay Zimmerman, of Shawano, passed away at home on September 10, 2016. She was born February 11, 1953, in Shawano, WI, the daughter of the late Marvin and Lola Westphal. On September 8, 1973 Kathryn married her loving husband William
"
Bill" G. Zimmerman. A graduate of Shawano High School, Kathy went on to nurses training and worked as an LPN in Milwaukee, WI before returning to Shawano, WI. She worked as an LPN and eventually as Director of Community Relations at Heartland Nursing Home in Shawano. She left nursing and along with her husband, established Creative Cleaning Solutions, a successful business which serves Shawano and surrounding area businesses.
Kathy was a faithful member of the Jehovah's Witnesses Congregation and has been a pioneer minister for over 17 years. She enjoyed sharing the news of Jehovah's Kingdom with everyone and spent all her life caring for her family and friends. Kathy had a zest for life and enjoyed cooking, traveling, and planning parties. She was a loving wife, sister, and friend, and will be missed by many.

of Shawano; her sister, Patricia (Richard DeBroux) Westphal of Milwaukee; her sister-in-law, Denise Westphal; one niece, Megan (Clay)
Johnson; two
nephews, Aaron (Amanda) Larson and Derek Larson. Kathy is further survived by members of the Zimmerman family: surviving sisters-in-law, Janet Romberg, Betty Christiansen, Lorraine Lohrentz, Ruth (Arnie) Kutchenriter, Dorothy Bowan, Sally Peterson, and Nancy Laude; as well as two brothers-in-law, Elmer (Pat) Zimmerman and Fred Zimmerman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Kenneth M. Westphal; a sister-in-law, Mary Fergins; and a brother-in-law, John Zimmerman.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm on Friday, September 23, 2016 at Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, N4764 Willow Lane, Shawano, WI. Visitation will be from 2:00pm until the time of the service.
