Kathryn "Kaye" C. Keyes, age 73, of Shawano passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 in Shawano. Kaye was born on May 9, 1942, in Manitowoc, the daughter of the late James W. and Kathryn (Cooper) Stein Sr. After high school, she graduated from the University of Madison. On August 28, 1965, she was united in marriage to Roger K. Keyes in Shawano. He preceded her in death on August 1, 2004. Together, they owned and operated Shamoco Ford of Shawano, where she was also the secretary and treasurer. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Jaycettes, and enjoyed snowmobiling.

She is survived by one daughter, Kathryn Mary (Kevin) Mulvey of Coronado, CA; one son, Robert James Keyes of St. Louis Park, MN; seven grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephew. She is further survived by her special, caring friend, Bev Echtner.

Kaye was preceded in death by her husband, Roger, her parents, two brothers, James Jr. and Calvin A. (Joyce) Stein and one sister, Mozelle Bystrand.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano with Rev. Luke Ferris officiating.  Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Swedberg Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
