We do this in order to keep her at the top of the list*** Kayla Rose Garbelman, age 26, of Oklahoma, formerly of Shawano passed away on August 28, 2015 in Oklahoma. Kayla was born in Shawano on June 13, 1989 to Michael Garbelman and Kathleen (Kempinger) Ward. She loved dogs, horses, and writing poetry, coming back to Wisconsin to visit with family, and above all she loved her daughter. Kayla is survived by: her daughter, Addison Rose Garbelman of OK; her father, Michael (Amy) Garbelman of Shawano; her mother, Kathleen Ward of OK; her grandfather, Richard (Pat) Garbelman of Shawano; her grandmother, Sharon Voss of Shawano; two great grandmothers, Juanita Garbelman and Evelyn Tishauser both of Shawano; her stepbrother, Jeremy (Angela) DuQuaine and her stepsister, Jessica (Tim) Sheldon of Clintonville as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Rev. Loretta Waegli officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:30 until the time of the service.
