Keith Allen Degener, age 51 of Elcho, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013 in Wausau. Born on September 3, 1961 in Shawano, he was the son of Marcella (Krause) Degener and the late Roland Degener. Keith was raised in the Shawano area and later moved to Sherwood. He then returned to the Shawano area and one year ago made his final move to Elcho. He was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church-Belle Plaine. In his free time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Keith is survived by: his mother, Marcella Degener of Clintonville; 4 siblings, Shirley (William) Buschel of Pelican Lake, David Degener of Sherwood, Susan (Wayne) Malliet of Shawano, Donna (Kevin) Huebner of Clintonville; and 8 nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, May 31, 2013 at the St. John Lutheran Church-Belle Plaine with the Rev. Todd Jerabek officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
