Keith F. Lawrenz, age 53 of Shawano, passed away Tuesday, February 04, 2014 at a local nursing home. Born on March 4, 1960 in Port Washington, he was the son of Viola (Perkins) Lawrenz and the late Jacob "Jake" Lawrenz. Keith graduated from Bonduel High School in 1978. On March 29, 1991 he was united in marriage to Patty McKenna. Keith was a hard worker who spent most of his career building boats. When not at work, he loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing and enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers. Keith is survived by: his wife, Patty; his daughter, Nicole (special friend, Nick Wetherall) Binkowski of Shawano; his son, Jacob Lawrenz of Shawano; his mother, Viola Lawrenz of Shawano; 2 brothers, Randall (Laurie) Lawrenz of Sheboygan, Jeff Lawrenz of Cleveland, WI; a sister, Janet (special friend, Bob) Lawrenz of Gillett; his cat, Cuttlz; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Keith was preceded in death by: his father, Jake Lawrenz; and a sister, Betsy Elizabeth Lawrenz. A gathering of family and friends will be held at The Lighthouse in Shawano on Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 2:00-4:00pm. The Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano is assisting the family with the arrangements.
