Kelin "Kelly" VandenPlas, age 63, passed away unexpectedly on Friday August 11, 2023, at his home. Kelly was born on April 20, 1960, in Green Bay to the late James and Carole (VandenHeuvel) VandenPlas. Kelly grew up in Green Bay and graduated from Preble High School. He was a hard-working quiet man and was well liked. He worked for the Town of Wescott for the last 15 years. In his free time Kelly enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his loved ones.

Kelly is survived by his fiancé and partner, Jackie Erickson; daughter, Nadeen Rancier; granddaughter, Acacia Rancier; siblings, Kim (Ferd) Bahrke and Kurt (Kris) VandenPlas; and Jackie's children, Evan Erickson, Gregory (Dianna) Erickson, and Wendy (Ryan) Hyde.

Kelly is preceded in death by a daughter, Asha VandenPlas and his parents, Jim and Carole.

In accordance with Kelly's wishes no services will be held.
