He is further survived by: many nieces and nephews; and a life-long friend, Larry Zarling, Shawano. His lapcat, Kitty, will especially miss him. He was preceded in death by: his parents; his step-father, Carl Retzlaff; his brother, Rodney Baumann; two nephews in infancy; his in-laws, Victor and Mildred Schreiber; special friend, Johnny Specht; and aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 21, 2012 at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano. Visitation will be held at the funeral home in Shawano on Thursday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated for a scholarship to be funded in Ken's name. The family would like to thank SouthernCare Hospice staff for their loving care of Ken, especially Dr. Kevin Rosteing, Erin, Elaine, Molly and Bryanna.
