Kenneth L. Huebner, age 72 of the Town of Richmond, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014 at a local nursing home. Born on December 19, 1941 in Shawano, he was the son of the late Henry and Sarah (Nueske) Huebner. Ken lived in Shawano all his life and graduated from Gresham High School. On November 9, 1963 he was united in marriage to Doris Mikulski in Clintonville. She preceded him in death on July 31, 1997. Ken owned and operated Huebner Electric. When not at work, he enjoyed deer hunting, snowmobiling, camping and spending time at his trailer in Pickerel. Ken was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church-Hermansfort. Ken is survived by: his 2 daughters, Linda (Joey Bahr) Huebner of Shawano, Marsha (John) Lawrenz of Navarino; his son, Kenneth A. Huebner of Shawano; a sister, Sallee (Gary) Gehrt of Embarrass; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Virginia Huebner of Sandstone, MN, Lyle (Marlea) Mikulski of Marion, Art (Shirley) Mikulski of Hortonville; and several nieces and nephews. Ken was preceded in death by: his wife, Doris; his parents; and a brother, Casper Huebner. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at the St. John's Lutheran Church-Hermansfort with the Rev. Roland Golz and Vicar Steve Conradt officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano on Wednesday from 4:00-7:00pm and at the church on Thursday from 10:00am until the time of the service. www.swedbergfuneralhome.com
