Kenneth A. Shadick, age 83 died at his home on Saturday May 11, 2024. He was born on December 20, 1940, in Antigo, Wisconsin to Walter and Eleanor (Novak) Shadick. He attended St. John Grade School and graduated from Antigo High School with the class of 1959. He married Margaret (Peg) Rose at St. John Catholic Church in Antigo on June 4, 1960. They shared almost 64 years together. After working various jobs in Milwaukee and Clintonville, they began dairy farming in Marion, Wisconsin, before moving their farm to Deerbrook, Wisconsin in 1974. After a number of years, they sold the farm and Ken became caretaker at Langlade County Veterans Memorial Park at Jack Lake. They moved back to Antigo, and he worked at All-Car and Wisconsin Veneer and Plywood before retiring to the Shawano Lake area. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and trips to the casino with Peg.

He is survived by his wife Peg, of Shawano, his five sons: Gary (Kathie) of Appleton, Todd (Pam) of Neenah, Doug (Pam) of Menasha, Rick (Lynette) of Shawano, Jeff (Lynn) of Depere and one daughter Tammi (Joe Kappell, significant other) of Kimberly. Further survived by 18 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Walter (Eloise) of Winterhaven, FL, sister-in-law Clara Shadick of Weyerhauser, WI., numerous nieces and nephews and members of Peg's family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Peg's parents Rufus and Evelyn Rose, his sisters and brother in-laws; Doris and Herb Kelm, Lenore and Francis Igl, and brother Roland.

Per Ken's wishes no formal services will be held.
