Kerwin Edward Kasten, age 68 of Shawano, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021. Kerwin was born on July 13, 1952, to the late Ervin and Lucille (Hagen) Kasten. On December 14, 1984, he was united in marriage to Maria Jean Feger in Shawano.

Kerwin is survived by his wife, Jean; stepchildren, Melody Feger, Roger Steinering and Christopher Steinering; a special grandson, Matthew; great-grandson, Noah; and one sister, Cindy. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Irvin and Robert.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano.
