Kevin Kaquatosh, Jr., "Māēc Kenēw", age 39, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022.  Kevin was born on August 20, 1982, to Kevin Kaquatosh and Mary (Neconish) Perez in Milwaukee.  He lived on the Menominee Reservation most of his life.  Kevin received his Menominee name from Tom Kitchkume.   He was a traditional dancer and liked to participate and go to Pow Wow's.  He was instrumental in building the Menominee Village at Indian Summer in Milwaukee, WI.  He also enjoyed doing art, beading, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

Kevin is survived by: his parents, Kevin (Leila "Pud") Kaquatosh and Mary (Neconish) Perez; his children, Ellana Rose (Joseph), Andre, Damien, Kevin III "Kenēhsāēh", Xavier and Aaliyah; one grandson, Māēc Kenēw;; four siblings, Aaron, Jeffrey, Kurtis, and Daniel; maternal grandmother, Karen (Neconish) Gardner; and his companion, Elizabeth House.  He is further survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by: his son, Kenēw Awāēhtok; one sister, Keona Marie; one brother Patrick; grandparents, Clifford J. Kaquatosh, Rosella Waukau Ninham, and Mylan K. Gardner, Sr.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Deacon Tom Hartman officiating.  Visitation will be held on Monday, March 21, 2022, at Father David Barrett Hall starting at 2 pm and will continue until time of service on Wednesday.
