Kevin J. Listle joined his dad in heaven on September 27, 2026, and is once again playing cribbage with him with a cold PBR.

Kevin was born in Oconomowoc on April 16, 1958, to John and Sandra Listle. He spent his teenage years in White Lake with his great Aunt and Uncle, attending White Lake School and helping with chores on the farm, which ultimately led to a love of farming. Small town living suited him perfectly and he ended up settling down in White Lake, and built his forever home on his great-grandfather’s land, the original family farm, where he started farming again.

His long career at Robbins Sport Surfaces took him from his younger years as a semi driver, to a Supervisor up until he retired.

Kevin had a love of the outdoors and enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing. He had a fondness for his young nieces and nephews and they lovingly referred to him as Uncle Buster, or Uncle Butter.

Kevin is survived by eight siblings, all living in Wisconsin, Carl Listle of Milwaukee, Patti (Mark) Kamin of White Lake, Mary (David) Krueger of White Lake, Steve (MaryJane) Listle of Spooner, Susan Listle of Antigo, Dan (Pam) Listle of Melrose, Barb (Bill) Gerfin of Watertown, and Joe (Lisa) Listle of Black River Falls, and his mother, Sandra Listle.

He was married for 18 years to Patricia (Patsy) Doemel. He was a proud dad of two sons, John Listle of White Lake and Kyle (Sarah) Darling of Largo, FL. He was stepdad to Mathew who preceded him in death and Leah Ramer. He was grandfather to Katie, step-grandfather to Hannah, Laney, and Echo, and great-step grandfather to Norman.

Kevin fought a long, hard fight, and had many supporters and friends along his journey. The family would like to give a special thank you to BJ (Benji) for being a special part of the Kevin’s Keepers Team.

There will be a small, private family service with a celebration of life at a later date.
