Kevin Douglas Marquette, age 50, of Shawano, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2020. Kevin was born on June 22, 1969, in Shawano to Rose Mary (Frank) Marquette and the late Douglas Marquette. He graduated from Shawano High School in 1987. Upon graduation Kevin went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Army. He went on to further his education at Winona Technical College and Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in metal fabrication. On June 27, 1997, Kevin was united in marriage to Theresa Krueger in Appleton. Kevin worked for Val-Fab, Inc. in Neenah for 8 years, for Menominee Highway Department for 4 years, and for Shawano Public Works for the past 4 years. He taught hunters safety to the youth of the community and was a 4-H leader in shooting sports. He had a love for the outdoors where he enjoyed hunting and archery.

Kevin is survived by: his wife of 22 years, Theresa; his children, Rachel Marquette and Douglas Marquette both of Shawano; his mother, Rosie Marquette; and his sister, Michelle (Glenn) Meating of Clintonville; his niece and nephew, Rebecca and Joshua. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Douglas Marquette.

A Memorial Mass will be held for Kevin at 11:00 am, on Friday, May 15, 2020, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Scott Valentyn officiating. Military honors will be conducted at the church by the Shawano American Legion Post #117. Visitation will be Friday at the church from 10:00 am until the time of services.
