Kurt E. Koth, age 55, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023, surrounded by family in Green Bay. Kurt was born on October 24, 1968, in Tomahawk, Wisconsin, son of the late Oscar and Jean (Hocking) Koth. On June 18, 1994, Kurt was united in marriage to Karen Gigl in Shawano. Kurt worked as a Welder for many years, most recently for New London Metal Fab.  In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, camping, listening to music, watching NASCAR and rooting on the Packers.

Kurt is survived by his wife of 29 years, Karen; two sons, Jon Koth and Alex (Courtney) Koth; sisters, Kristine (Don) Heidewald, Trudy (Bruce) Knuepfer, Edwina Koth and Pamela (Jake Ludvigsen) Pociask; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Elizabeth and Michael Gigl; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Steven and Danica Gigl. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Kurt is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Kelly Bahrke.

A funeral service for Kurt will be held at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano at 11:00am on Friday, November 17, 2023.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00pm until 7:00pm and again on Friday from 9:30am until the time of the service.
