Lavonne E. Crowe's Obituary
LaVonne Evelyn Crowe, loving mother, sister and daughter has continued on to her journey February 9, 2017. She spent her life educating, mentoring and loving all her students ~ many of whom called her "Mom". Her "kids" were her life. Lavonne was born and raised on the Menominee Reservation in Keshena/Neopit, WI. She leaves one child behind who she said "from first sight is my ray of Sunshine", whom she named Sunshine Rae Crowe and her puppies, Sassy and Ogimaakwe. LaVonne loved playing bingo and video one eyed jacks poker. She enjoyed going to see her favorite bands play music.
LaVonne is survived by: her siblings, Stephen L. (Denise) Crowe, Sr., Bonnie (Mary Ann) Kaquatosh, Ray Kaquatosh, Dick (Kelly) Kaquatosh and Richanda (Trudy) Kaquatosh.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Pat Crowe; mother, Evelyn Teller Kaquatosh; step-father, Raymond Kaquatosh, Sr.; and siblings, Albert Crowe, Guy Crowe and LaFern Crowe Awonohopay.
Celebration of Life services are Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at St. Anthony Community Hall in Neopit at 11:00 am. until 2:00 pm.
