Obituary

Lawrence Jay Sperberg left the physical in union with his heavenly father on November 6, 2021. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea.  He worked for Murphey Construction before opening his own business, L.J. Sperberg Construction in 1971. He was very active in his community, was a strong God-fearing Christian, and loved his morning coffee with friends. He married the love of his life, Bonnie Lou Groleau, on May 1, 1965, in Shawano.

He is survived by: his wife; Bonnie, his daughters; Jody (Greg) Stichman, and Heidi (Shawn) Reynolds, seven grandchildren; Jessica (Weston Lepak) Lepak-Kast, Joshua (Tiffany) Kast, Jade Kast, Tara Reynolds, William Reynolds, Jack Reynolds, and Maverick Reynolds, four great-grandchildren; Taiten Kast, Ariyah Kast, Linnea Lepak, and Corbin Kast, and brother, Richard (Anita) Sperberg.

Larry's love for his family was unmeasurable. He shared with them all the hobbies he enjoyed, as well as everything he learned throughout his life. He taught all the grandkids how to ride and care for the horses at their ranch, how to hunt, work hard, and stay humble. He had the ability to connect and conversate with nearly anyone, and never missed a beat.

He was the true definition of a great man and will forever be missed by many. There will not be a funeral service held but a celebration of life with military honors in the spring for friends and family.

John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not be afraid."
