Lawrence "Larry" Stascak passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 4, 2016 following a short battle with cancer.
Larry was born on May 28, 1957 to the late Fran and Ann Stascak.
After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force.
On November 14, 1998, Larry was united in marriage to Karla Becker in Green Bay.
He enjoyed spending time with family and camping with his wife and dogs.
Larry is survived by:
his wife, Karla; his children, Shanon (Kevin) Laubenstein, Steven Henquinet, Mark (Lisa) Olson, and Lucinda Stascak; his grandchildren, Dakota Stascak, Kevin Laubenstein Jr., Sierra Laubenstein, Sammi Olson, Brianna Olson, Rosina Dick, and Jaydon Hornug.
He is further survived by: his siblings, Dick (Kay) Stascak, Terry (Tom) Hendricks, Roger (Tammy) Stascak; brothers and sisters-in-law, Claudia (Peter) Vann, John (Michelle) Becker, Tim (Stephanie) Becker, and Mike (Misty) Becker, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and his beloved dogs, Reba and Gibbs.
He was preceded in death by:
his parents, Fran and Ann; his mother and father-in-law, Elda and Claude Becker; one sister-in-law, Bonnie Jaeger; one brother-in-law, Bob Becker; as well as many aunts and uncles.
A celebration of Larry's life will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Fawn Lake Campground in Shawano with Rev. David Barrett officiating.
Military Honors will be conducted by Shawano AMVETS.
A visitation will follow the service until 3:00 pm.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to his good friend, Fred, for all his help, Aspirus Hospital in Antigo and the V.A. Hospital in Milwaukee for the care that was given.
