April 26, 1934 – August 25, 2023
Lee Arlin White Sr., age 89, passed away surrounded by family on Friday August 25, 2023, in Shawano. Lee was born on April 26, 1934, in Keshena to the late Louis L. "Si" and Arline (Eastman) White. He graduated from Shawano High School and went on to serve his country when he entered the United States Army. On August 30, 1954, he was united in marriage to Clara Jean Beauprey in Keshena. Jean preceded Lee in death on April 22, 2004. Lee then began his career in logging. Lee ran and operated Lee White Logging for 54 years. He enjoyed watching and playing golf, basketball, and baseball. He was an avid fan of the Packers and Brewers. He was quite the outdoorsman and spent his spare time horseback riding, hunting, snowmobiling and fishing with his wife Jean. He will be dearly missed.
Lee is survived by his children Wayne (Sarah) White, of Shawano, Dean (Lonna) White, of Keshena, and Sadie (Nathan) Milner, of Marshfield; daughter-in-law Kathy White; siblings Louis "Nege" White, of Keshena, Loren (Marcie) White, of Keshena, Annette (Lee) Foster, of Green Bay, and Andrea White, of Keshena. He is further survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Lee is preceded in death by his wife, Jean; children David, Leo, and Jeannine; his parents Louis and Arline.
A funeral mass for Lee will be held on Wednesday August 30, 2023, at 11:00 am at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Keshena, with Fr. Hanz Christian officiating. Visitation will be held at the White Residence located at N1280 State Hwy 47 Neopit starting at 4:00 pm on Monday August 28, 2023 until the time of procession to the church on Wednesday. Military rights will be conducted by the Veterans of the Menominee Nation following services at the church.
