Lenore Marie Albers, age 87 of Keshena, died on Saturday, December 20, 2014 in Keshena. She was born on February 16, 1927 in Chicago to the late Arthur and Nell (Malloy) Lenzer. Lenore attended St. Sylvester Grammer School and graduated from Providence High School. Lenore was united in marriage to Jack Henry Albers on June 26, 1948. They initially made their home in Elmwood Park, IL before moving to Des Plaines where they resided 40 years. In 1996, the couple made the transition to Keshena, which they now call home. Lenore was a member of the St. Sylvester Catholic Church, the Ladies' Sodality, ACCW and also a former Girl Scout Leader. Lenore is survived by: her husband, Jack; 5 children, Michael Albers, Marianne McKoveck, Nancianne Jensen, Suzanne Priore and James Albers. She also has 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Keshena with the Rev. David McElroy O.Praem officiating. Visitation will be held at the Fr. Dave Barrett Hall on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the services.
