Leo E. Brown, age 76 of Bonduel, passed away Friday, October 26, 2012 in Green Bay. Born on November 30, 1935 in Green Bay, he was the son of the late Edwin and Elinora (Reschke) Brown. On April 7, 1958 Leo enlisted with the United States Army and served his country for two years. On May 26, 1973 he was united in marriage to Veronica Barbeau in Green Bay. She preceded him in death on March 5, 2003. Leo lived most of his life in Green Bay. He worked for Eiler's Cheese Factory for many years before working at Fort Howard until retiring. When not at work, Leo enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting, and going to the casino. Leo is survived by: 2 daughters, Dawn Brown of Black River Falls, Vikki (Jason) Pfeiffer of Crivitz; 3 sons, Dale Brown of Black River Falls, Dean (Christine) Brown of Black River Falls, Kevin Brown of Bonduel; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Richard (Gail) Brown of Green Bay, Harvey (Loretta) Brown of De Pere; 2 sisters, Nancy Verheyen of Green Bay and Leona (Alvin) Vandenberg of Green Bay; and his former wife, Rose Kaquatosh. A memorial family gathering will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 12:00-2:00pm at the Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel. www.swedbergfuneralhome.com
