Leonard Robert Marohl, age 93, of Cecil, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016 at his home.
Leonard was born on the home farm in the Town of Washington, on April 22, 1923, the son of the late Adolph and Helena (Deering) Marohl.
He lived in the Town of Washington all his life.
In 1948, Leonard was united in marriage to Bettymae Mildred Zimmer in Green Bay.
Betty preceded him in death.
Leonard was a talented musician, who had his own band, and enjoyed sharing his gift of music on WTCH radio.
Leonard worked with his father as a carpenter, is a member of the Musician's Union and Immanuel Lutheran Church in White Clay Lake.
Leonard is survived by his son Bruce Marohl and his sister, LaVerna Lamb of Pulcifer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, one son Keith, two sisters, Mildred Donald and Adeline Jackman and two brothers, Leo and Victor Marohl.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in White Clay Lake with Rev. Steven Pockat officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30 am until the time of the service.
