Leonard A. Neosh, age 52 of Neopit, died on Thursday, February 20, 2014 in Appleton. Born on September 8, 1961 in Shawano, he is the son of Thelma A. (Waubanascum) Neosh and the late Mose Neosh. Leonard enlisted in the US Army and proudly served his country as a Ranger. Leonard was united in marriage to Dorothy Weber on October 31, 1999 in Keshena and was a member of the St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Neopit. Leonard lived on the Menominee Reservation most of his life and enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching football and spending time with his grandchildren. Leonard is survived by: his wife, Dorothy; his children, Janice (Mike Fish) Neosh of Green Bay, Sandrea (Robert) Shawano of Keshena, Aweh-awasit M. Weber of Kentucky, Mose Neosh of Sheboygan Falls, Dwight (Shawna) LaRock of Cecil; his baby, Cordelain Smith; his mother, Thelma; 13 grandchildren; special grandchildren, Dandy Fish and Cashmere Shawano; and 2 sisters, Stephanie Neosh of Keshena and Donna Neosh of Green Bay. He is preceded in death by: his father, Mose; and 2 brothers, Lyle and Neil. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 24, 2014 at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Neopit with the Rev. David McElroy O.Praem officiating. Visitation is being held at the Noelle Madosh Residence, N412 Chief Souligney Road from 4:00 p.m. on Saturday until the procession leaves for church on Monday.
