LeRoy John Long, Jr., age 59, passed away unexpectedly on Monday April 21, 2025, at his home in Menominee Reservation. LeRoy was born on December 24, 1965, in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, to LeRoy (Rose Martin) Long, Sr., and the late, Alvina (Klein) Long. He worked for many years installing windows, doors and siding. LeRoy was very proud and particular of his work. He lived in South Branch for most of his life. In his free time, LeRoy enjoyed going fishing, playing pool and disk golf and was an avid Packer fan.

LeRoy is survived by his children, Nathaniel Long, Shannon Long and Cortly Bubolz-School; 10 grandchildren; parents, LeRoy and Rose Long, Sr.; siblings, James Ruelle, Charlotte Long, Lynn Long, Bruce Biljan, Daniel Long, Frances Basina, Kelly Long Ramirez, Nancy Martin and Virginia Long; special brothers, Alfred Kallies and Greg Joachim; and the other son, Sam Kroening. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

LeRoy is preceded in death by a daughter in infancy; mother, Alvina; siblings, Marie Peterson and Marvin Ruelle; and grandparents.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday April 24, 2025, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Inurnment will be held at a later date at St. Joseph of the Lake Cemetery.
