LeRoy Francis Sanapaw, Sr., age 47, of Keshena, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021.  He was born on May 26, 1974, to Evanell (Kakwitch) Sanapaw and the late Joseph Sanapaw in Shawano.  He attended Menominee Indian High School in Keshena. LeRoy hung drywall for Flea Drywalling for several years. He enjoyed going to the casino and was always lucky. LeRoy also enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved being a grandfather.

LeRoy is survived by: his significant other, Kerry Nacotee, children; Alissa Waupoose, Marcella Sanapaw, LeRoy (Drew Smith) Sanapaw, Jr., Mariah (Dale House) Sanapaw, and Michael Peters, grandchildren; Amilli, Joseph, Jemma, Alaia, Kamilla, Wapanukiw, LeRoy III, and two more grandchildren on the way, mother, Evanell Sanapaw, brothers and sisters; Roberta James, Raymond (Debra) Sanapaw, Richard (Brenda) Sanapaw, Kenneth (Geraldine) Sanapaw, Stefanie (Marty) Pamonicutt, Thomas (Sassy) Sanapaw, Shawn (Sheena) Sanapaw, and Kristin Sanapaw,  special niece, Terri, and special cousin, Diana.

He was preceded in death by: his father, Joseph, brothers; Alvin, and Joseph, Jr.

Traditional services will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at 3:00 pm at Evanell's residence: N1126 State HWY 47/55 in Keshena. Family and friends may call at the residence from 5:00 pm Thursday until the time of service on Saturday.
