Leroy L. "Bud" Smallwood, 56, of Shawano, passed away at Thedacare Medical Center of Appleton on Saturday, April 27, 2019. Leroy was born on November 21, 1962 to the late Lee Roy and Rollande (Vanderventer) Smallwood. Leroy married the love of his life Debra Samolinski in Milwaukee. He was a cab driver in Milwaukee for many years before moving to Shawano six years ago. Leroy loved his grandchildren dearly. Music was his life and he was a friend to all.

Leroy was survived by his wife Debbie; his sons, Scott (Erin) Samolinski of Illnois and Steven (Tabitha) Kassin of Ohio; grandchildren, Kaela, Olivia, Lucas, Reilly, Sophia, Kendall, and Brynlee, great-grandson Jaxson; one sister, Mary (Thomas) Paul; and two brothers Michael (Joanne) Smallwood and Robert (Yamina) Martinez.

Leroy was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2019 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service on Monday.
