Leroy J. Sperberg, age 82 of Shawano, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Leroy was born on September 1, 1938 in Shawano. He was the son of Herbert and Dorothy (Regal) Sperberg. On October 22, 1960, he was united in marriage to Audrey Buettner at St. Jakobi Lutheran Church. Leroy was a faithful member of St. Jakobi in the Town of Richmond. After graduation Leroy worked on road construction, then he drove semi for Graebel Movers before taking over the family farm. When he retired from farming he was the road supervisor for the Town of Richmond. Leroy enjoyed hunting, camping and many fishing trips to Canada. He and Audrey loved to go on road trips, the last being to Alaska for 6 weeks. He loved spending time with his family, 4 children, 10 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Leroy will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Leroy is survived by his wife Audrey; children, Brian (Bonnie) Sperberg, Brenda (Dana) Price, Barb (Greg) Carroll, and Brad (Jenni) Sperberg; grandchildren, Laura (Luke) Hoffman, Lee (Brea) Carroll, Peter (Mikayla) Carroll, Miranda (Bobby) Tousey, Carrie Fink, Brendan (Melena) Price, Ben (Alison) Sperberg, Brooke (Nick) Sperberg, and Laci and Layla Sperberg; great-grandchildren, Lena, Levi, Laney, Max, Winstyn, Crew, Madison,, Mirella, Mavae, Jackson, Jamison, Ava and Olive; siblings, Leo (Jane) Sperberg, Louie (Karen) Sperberg, Curt (Robin) Sperberg, and Susan (Roger) Pahlow; brothers and sisters-in-law, Neil (Mary) Buettner, Dale (Carol) Buettner, and Steve (Lori) Buettner. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Dorothy, and son-in-law, Scott Fink.

Funeral services for Leroy will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at St. Jakobi Lutheran Church with Rev. Travis Kleinschmidt officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday at the church from 2:00 pm until the time of service. For those who wish, services will be announced over the loudspeaker in the parking lot on radio station 104.5 FM.
